Build a listening program, not another one-time survey

Effective listening is a cycle. TalentMap helps organizations define why they are listening, gather useful feedback, prepare leaders to respond and keep improving over time.

The five foundations

1

Purpose

Start with the decisions and changes ahead.

2

Design

Choose the right audience, method, questions and timing.

3

Trust

Explain confidentiality, data use and what employees can expect.

4

Interpretation

Turn results into a clear story for each audience.

5

Follow-through

Choose priorities, equip managers and close the loop.

Match the cadence to your capacity

Combine deeper engagement listening with focused check-ins only when the organization can interpret and respond. More surveys do not create more trust if employees cannot see what happens next.

Technology and guidance working together

TalentMap brings survey setup, participation monitoring, reporting, benchmarks and action planning into one connected experience. Experienced guidance helps your team make sound choices at each stage, from design through follow-through.

Follow-through

Design the follow-through before launch

Define the intended change, first actions, accountable owners and a realistic review point.

Check whether actions happened, where support is needed and what the next pulse or survey should explore.

Common questions

What kinds of surveys can TalentMap support?

TalentMap supports engagement, pulse and lifecycle surveys designed around your listening goals. The survey types available to your organization are confirmed before a program is scoped.

How long does implementation take?

Timing depends on the scope of the program, the audience and internal approvals, so a schedule is agreed for each program rather than fixed in advance.

How is confidentiality protected?

Engagement and onboarding survey results are reported in aggregate. Groups with fewer than five respondents are not reported on their own.
